HydroColocate

ABOUT HYDROCOLOCATE

Existing hydro.
A new use for steady power.

HydroColocate is developing powered, cooled data center sites at operating hydroelectric plants for AI cloud and GPU infrastructure operators. We are currently sourcing plants across the continental U.S.

Infrastructure for partners.
Responsibilities defined.

Our proposed model is to secure plant and site control through acquisition, lease or joint venture, then prepare the site, behind-the-meter power, river cooling loop and fiber route. Data center partners bring their own data center facilities and equipment and operate their own compute. Site and power agreements define the responsibilities for each site.

AI-assisted screening helps organize records and surface the issues specialists need to resolve. The aim is to make early diligence more efficient while keeping engineering and regulatory judgments with qualified people.
